Positives: We really loved all of the amenities and the house inside was very clean and provided a lot of things to help families with young children. That was great. Also providing things like towels, cooking supplies, plastic containers to pack snacks, toilet paper, sheets, blankets, coffee, etc. was wonderful. The big TVs in the rooms were great. Having toys for the baby was helpful. You can’t beat having your own bathroom and an extra bathroom downstairs. Critiques: When we arrived some of the beach chairs were muddy and it stained my cousin’s shirt. Some of the plates felt dirty when we first got there. The grill had not been cleaned, and the pool chairs were very dirty. Also smoke alarm had been removed from the bedroom. There were a lot of automated messages sent out and I also felt odd being informed of all of the extra ways my family could get fined or charged for.

Great space with plenty of room for our group. The place was spotless and well kept, close to the beach and the pier. Derek was a super host and responded very quickly anytime I had a question. I would definitely come back!

The home was spotless and very comfortable. I’m not great with technology so a notebook with information would have been less frustrating for me. The kitchen is super well stocked with dishes and everything you need for cooking. It is close to the beach and the decks and pool were great.

We had a wonderful stay at Derek and Lauren’s home in Surfside Beach! The home was beautiful, well-decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed throughout our stay. Derek and Lauren were also very responsive and quickly addressed any questions or issues that came up. The home provided such a comfortable and relaxing environment for my family, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The house was beautiful!!! I’ve stayed in many rentals and this one was by far one of the best!! I usually clean before I even unpack but that wasn’t necessary here!! It was so clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like home! The elevator was an added bonus especially for us seniors. I traveled with my family and 3 yr old granddaughter and toys and beach accessories for her were perfect. We had absolutely everything we needed . It was also great having the kitchen area and bathroom right next to the pool! The house is in a great location and just a very short walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart that my granddaughter enjoyed but be prepared to pay to park it at the beach access . Derek was amazing with his quick response to any issues or questions I had. I would definitely recommend this rental and looking forward to returning next year !!! Cathy A.

Absolutely gorgeous house! They have thought of everything and have made it so convenient for guests. Very spacious, bright, and clean. Love that all rooms have their own bathrooms and even a half bath on the main floor as well as the pool area. Very easy check in and communication has been phenomenal!

The house was absolutely beautiful exactly as shown in the pictures, if not better! It was very spacious, extremely clean, and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly understanding, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to assist with any additional services or accommodations we might want. We truly appreciated how welcoming and responsive they were. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, and comfortable place to stay!

Great beach that’s not super busy!

Home is beautiful and well-equipped. The bedrooms with en-suites were perfect for our large family. The short walk to the beach and pool were amazing. The outdoor kitchen and grill helped while we were enjoying the outdoors. Our small issue at check in was quickly taken care of by owner. We loved every minute of our stay and the teens said it was a “vibe”.

Beautiful home, well designed with private baths for each bedroom, elevator for easy transport of luggage and supplies, private pool, close to the beach, in a neighborhood away from hotels, well equipped, responsive host, who could ask for more? Family loved it. Thank you.

We had a great time during our stay! The beach house was well-stocked with everything we could think of needing, which made our visit comfortable and stress-free. The beach was just a very short walk away, and there were several places nearby that were easy to walk to as well. We loved both the beach and the house and would definitely return for another stay. Highly recommend!

Our host was very quick with any response that we had. The house was very convenient to the beach, tons of beach toys for the children and our grandchildren loved the pool. Kitchen had all the things we needed to prepare our meals. Only a 20 minute drive to Broadway at the Beach.

This property was a fantastic stay for our girls trip!! We had 9 women come together and this house accommodated all of us very well ! With every bedroom having its own full bathroom and some with double sinks there was plenty of room!!! It is completely updated and extremely clean and well taken care of!!! There was plenty of everything and you can easily feel right at home!!! The decor was up to date and very upscale! Mattresses in the main rooms were so wonderfully comfortable that a few of us looked for the name brand to know for home!! The management company was so helpful & prompt every time we reached out and even helped us through an unforeseen issue with ease!!!Thank You Derek & Lauren for sharing your wonderful paradise with us!!! We had a wonderful stay at this Surfside Beach Airbnb! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our large family group of 8 adults and 5 kids. It was an easy walking distance to the beach, which made everything so convenient. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and everyone felt comfortable throughout the stay. One of the best features was that each bedroom had its own attached bathroom, which made things much easier for a big group. The home was well set up for families and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Derek was a great host and very responsive throughout our stay. He made the whole experience smooth and easy from start to finish. Our only small feedback would be adding blackout curtains or shades in the bedrooms, since the rooms get bright pretty early in the morning and made it a little hard to sleep in :) We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for larger families or groups visiting the area.

This house was so well stocked , the owners thought of quite literally everything. There was plenty to do for both kids and adults, even a basket of toys that really helped our stay with a toddler. There is a massive collection beach supplies including a wagon. The pool was comfortable, there was a great privacy fence. Even the beds were comfy. This is one of my all time favorite air BnBs and the hosts were very friendly and responsive.

We had a great time! Everything was very clean, and you really don’t need to bring anything. They provide bath towels, beach towels, chairs, and even pool/beach toys for kids. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed — pots, cups, silverware, plates, and even seasonings lol. It was amazing! We also had great communication with the host throughout our stay.

Excellent house Great location

This place was just like being at home! You had everything you needed in the kitchen to the bathroom to the lounging area. You are steps from the beach that is absolutely beautiful! The location is great! The only thing I forgot to ask when renting was if the pool was heated. It’s not at this time so we didn’t get to enjoy that as we were hoping to. Other than that we have no complaints. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with our family.

Everything was great! It was too cool for the pool. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. I definitely would recommend it and we hope to return there again.

My family and I had the best time ever. The house was comfy, cozy, and classy. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. We all had space. The open concept of the kitchen, dining room and living room was perfect for us to come together as a family. The elevator a plus. The house had everything we needed m, everything!!!! A short walk to the beach a short walk to DQ. We loved everything and would love to return again in the future.

Derek’s place was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed. We had Elderly family members staying with us and having the elevator was the key to a perfect stay. When I communicated with Derek he responded quickly and was super helpful for our stay. The location was fabulous. You could walk to the beach or to a restaurant to get a bite to eat. I would highly recommend this house to stay while visiting Surfside Beach!!

Derek’s place was pretty awesome. We loved how spacious it was and the elevator took it over the top. His instructions were very clear and simple and he definitely went out of his way to make sure my group was comfortable.

This house was perfect for our family getaway. The house was clean upon arrival and the bedroom set up was perfect for hosting two families. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware, which I appreciate since we like to have a couple meals at home instead of heading out for every meal. The beds were extremely comfortable, which isn’t always the case with rentals. There were plenty of beach accessories also available for use. One tiny downfall was the pool was not heated and we traveled in December so the kids did not swim.The location was also great. Just a block from the beach access and a short walk to the pier where there were multiple restaurants and bars.I would definitely rent this property again.

This home was perfect for our family to gather. There was ample space for everyone to spread out and have privacy but plenty of areas for us to congregate. The coffee bar was a huge hit, I didn’t realize it would be fully stocked so we had already brought all of our usuals but we definitely didn’t need to. We did a mix of enjoying the local restaurants and staying in to cook and we weren’t short on anything for food prep. We stayed in December so we didn’t get to take advantage of the pool and outdoor areas which means we will just have to come back in the summer!

Host was very good/quick to respond as we were booking and had questions. The house was perfect. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. Our family had a wonderful time and will return again.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at Derek’s home and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As someone who stays in Airbnbs frequently for both business and leisure, I can confidently say the level of care and intention put into curating the guest experience here truly stood out. The home was exceptionally clean, spacious, and just steps from the beach, tucked away on a quiet street that made it easy to relax and recharge. A special bonus was being within walking distance of the Turkey Trot starting line, which added a fun and memorable touch to our holiday. This property is excellent. Safe and walkable neighborhood and an extremely clean and well-organized home. The showers are amazing, and beds are comfortable. The host is very responsive. We had a couple of issues while we were there and a family emergency, and everything was handled immediately and compassionately. The elevator is a must have! We rented a golf cart and had two cars in the driveway with absolutely no issues. We all loved the property and would stay again if we're in the area!

This home is so beautifully laid out and decorated and the host provides such considerate every day items. So many items shared with his guests- no need to bring beach chairs because they are already there. The pool was a huge hit with the beach area. My grand daughter didn’t want to get out! We will definitely stay again in the future. Love this house!

We over packed because the amenities provided were more abundant than we have ever encountered. The kitchen was stocked full with more than enough silverware, dishes, and even spices for cooking! I would have to say the elevator was a hit for our family as my husband’s mom is 94 years old and cannot handle stairs whatsoever. She was able to enter the elevator on the bottom floor and get up to her room or the den/kitchen area. It was the best way for her to be able to enjoy possibly her last trip to the beach. We cannot thank you enough for all the attention and support throughout our week. You are a great host and this property is fantastic.

Very well appointed home with big spaces to gather as a group of 10-12 as well as some spots for people to have some quiet time. Everything you need in the kitchens (indoor and outdoor) so we cooked most of our meals at home. The 300 steps to the beach is no exaggeration! Was convenient for everyone to be able to head back to the house if anything needed or just to go relax in the pool. Derek was fantastic about checking in throughout the weekend if we needed anything and very responsive to inquiries. Outstanding host!

This property is beautiful inside and out!Home had enough space for everyone. You will fall in love.Kitchen has all the bells and whistles. Any size pan, plate, bowl, cup,glass, utensils you need, it's there.Elevator was a huge asset to this vist. Disabled parent was able to explore home with ease.Rooms and beds were comfortable.Outside has a feel of a mini oasis. Pool was always inviting and temperature of water was perfect.Location of house to the beach was a great way to get a quick brisk walk in.Host was very sponsive. I had no delay in them responding. Overall this was a warm and relaxing home with great host with good customer service.

Our stay was great!! The house was beautiful and everything like the pictures. The kitchen was stocked with all cookware needed along with basic spices. I loved the anticipation of our needs such as aluminum foil, plastic wrap and sandwich bags. Even Tupperware for storing leftovers. The laundry room had pods and dryer sheets. The beach towels and all beach accessories came in handy and were in great condition. Nine of us stayed at this home and it was enough room for everyone to be separated when needed and together. We enjoyed the pool and the close beach access. We have already discussed staying here again! The bathrooms were nice, balcony views were great especially at night. Derek was very responsive and helpful whenever I had to reach out to him. Great hosts!! My family and I had a great time!!

Wish I could give this amazing property and hosts SIX stars. Blown away by the property and how thoughtfully the hosts have equipped the house for the best beach visit possible. Beach chairs, wagon, pool toys, outdoor games, a house that feels and smells BRAND NEW. So many thoughtful touches. Perfect pool for toddlers. The poolside bar was a fun hit. Plenty of space for big families and hosting guests. We had a blast and can’t wait to get back. Your first thought when you arrive will be “ I don’t want to leave”. Hosts were very responsive with communication and making sure we were taken care of. Easiest checkout list ever. You’ll feel bad having to do so little to get out the door. I could go on

The house was beautiful - just as pictured! Plenty of space for our family. All bedrooms had an en suite bathroom, which was a huge bonus. Great location (yes, it was steps to the beach!) and close to several restaurants, mini golf and stores. Lots of beach equipment were provided. Our kids loved the pool! The elevator was super useful as well. Surfside Beach is beautiful and clean!!! - we did some fishing at the pier, collected tons of seashells and saw some amazing sunrises. Would definitely go back!

We had a very nice stay! Although we were in town for a family function in Georgetown and didn’t get to fully enjoy all the home had to offer, it was clear this place was perfectly set up for a great time. The house was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need — from beach chairs and hand soaps to a table fan and even a fly zapper. I usually bring most of these items on vacation, but they already had it all covered! Each bedroom having its own private bathroom (plus a guest bathroom) was a huge bonus. The owners were also very responsive and helpful. We’d definitely love to return when we can spend more time relaxing and enjoying everything this home has to offer.

The house was gorgeous and tucked away in a wonderful neighborhood. Derek recommended great places to check out due to this being our first time in Surfside Beach! If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would! We can’t wait to be back! The house, amenities, and walkability to the beach was awesome!

Would give 100 stars if I could. Close to beach, all brand new furnishings some even with tags still on, everything you need for kitchen and beach. Plenty of parking. Definitely a pristine clean and luxury beach house experience. Was thankful for the extra touches throughout. Thank you Derek!!!
