Oceanview Condo~Heated Pool~Panoramic Views

Derek and Lauren are excellent hosts! You should have no hesitation booking with them. Communication is top notch! The condo was clean and exactly as pictured. We loved having 3 king beds and 3 bathrooms for our group. The heated pool and jacuzzi were nice after a full day of sightseeing in the Galveston area. You are a short walk across the street from the Seawall, only steps from the ocean. We enjoyed hunting for seashells during our stay. The best ones we found were between the stairs (across from the condo) and heading toward the pier. When our travels bring us back to the area, we would love to book with Derek and Lauren again. We had a fabulous stay at Derek’s condo on the Galveston Seawall. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was right there, and it’s clear Derek has truly thought of every little thing so guests can just settle in and relax. The condo was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The balconies were our favorite part. Morning coffee with that ocean view and quiet evenings listening to the waves made the trip feel extra special. Derek was wonderful throughout our stay. He was kind, quick to respond, and genuinely cared that we were having a great experience. You can tell he puts a lot of heart into this place, and it shows. We honestly didn’t want to leave. It was peaceful, easy, and exactly what we needed. We’d absolutely stay here again and will look to book with Derek wherever we travel next.

Love this condo! Beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean and updated. My kids loved being able to walk to the go carts. Beach is right across the road. The kids enjoyed the main pool. It was too cold for me so I was disappointed that the heated pool was being remodeled during our stay. This condo is in a great location. We will be back next year!

Derek was a great host. He communicated above and beyond and was super helpful. The place is beautiful, sleeps 6 adults comfortably and has a beautiful kitchen. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. You can walk across the street to the beach. Lots to do with Go-Karts and miniature golf within walking distance. I would definitely recommend and return. Great place.

This condo is great for a bigger group of people with plenty of beds! The bunks are perfect for the kids! The views are great from the balcony and you’re just a few steps from multiple pools and the beach. It was our first time traveling to Galveston and I’m so glad we picked Derek & Lauren’s place to spend it at. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Our extended family enjoyed our Galveston stay at Derek’s condo. Lots of thoughtful extras like pool towels and floaties, fully equipped kitchen, and family games. Derek was an excellent communicator, including addressing a small plumbing issue quickly and efficiently. We will definitely look at booking this condo for a large group again.

This was an excellent condo for 9 people, our family had a great stay! The pools at Maravilla are great for barbecues and hanging out, we will visit Galveston again!

Dirty upon arrival so we left! Positive: Communications prior to arriving was good! Negative: Extremely dirty upon arrival and smelled heavily like chemicals. We left after being told cleaners could come later that evening to clean. Couldn’t wait 7 hours beyond check in to enter a clean unit with our group. REFUSED to refund. We left and went to a hotel. My house burned down at midnight that night and had to immediately return back to Dallas. My son in law message and asked for a refund again, no response! DO NOT BOOK and never use booking.com EVER! The WORST customer service from the owners and booking.com.

The condo was everything it said it was. It was very clean and very inviting. Felt like home. Had everything we needed as far as cooking and eating. The beds were comfortable and nicely decorated. Two decks were perfect for early morning coffee and visiting or a glass of wine in the evening while looking at the Gulf. While there we got to explore Galveston and its museums and historic downtown area with lots of good places to eat. A trip to the Space Center did not disappoint. Would go back again.

Great condo & loved Galveston. We’d never been there before so I was just hoping for the best, and it really was the best! The condo is a great layout for our family of 6. Plenty of space, storage, and was super comfy. Loved the double patios that faced the ocean & the kids never wanted to stop swimming. The location is close to lots of great places to eat & we tried lots of beaches the Seawall was our favorite! Condo felt very safe, well kept, and had lots of other families. I loved that! Again, I had no idea what I was doing planning this trip, and everything about this condo was perfect. The pool is protected from the wind if you get some windy days, balconies feel private. Loved the location. Clean. Darling Beachy vibe. Would stay again! Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

This condo was in a nice place away from all the tourists activities. Very easy to get in and out of the complex because all the heavy traffic was a mile down the road. The beach was a short walk across the road. The complex had two pools 1 heated 94°, the other was not heated. Everything was within a reasonable distance. Great restaurants and shops downtown Galveston. We stayed out of the tourist areas most of the time. As far as the condo complex it’s self. I would have to give it a 4.5 star rating now just because there was storm damage to the front of the building and it was under construction due to that so some of the amenities were not open. But Derek was very quick with responding to questions and was very helpful. I would just text him and he would answer within in a minute or two. The condo we stayed in was a 3 bedroom 3 en-suites, so everyone had their own bathroom. The condo was very nice and has 2 balconies to sit on and watch the sun rise.

Our stay at Dereks place was amazing. The family enjoyed everything Dereks place had to offer. Derek is a great host and quick to respond to your needs. We will definitely be booking again.

5 stars given but a few things to note: Good stuff -an endless selection of coffee pods -TV with netflix account and some other application accounts -Toilet with a bidet (10/10) - 2 person shower - huge closets Bad stuff - 10 guests cannot fit. Max is 9 even if you count 2 ppl on every bed and 1 on the couch. -There are 3 toilets so if you have 6 guests and work around tight schedule, this can be an issue

Great place

Very nice location with great pricing. The place was clean upon entry. The host was very responsive and very accommodating. We had one minor issue and they remedied it right away. The hot tub was out of commission at the time of our stay, but we hardly had time for that anyway since we were just there to go on a cruise. The beds were comfy, the master shower was amazing!

Our stay here was very comfortable and relaxing! It was easy to settle in because of the well thought out layout, furniture, amenities, and pretty decor! We highly recommend!

The unit was beautiful and great layout. Was very quiet, easy to find and get into. My family loved the long weekend and we are already planning our next escape. This unit will certainly be part of the planning.
