A Lil’ Peace of Heaven

The house was just as shown in the pictures. The swing is what in our opinion made the stay worth it. It was nice to sit out in the swing early mornings and in the evenings listening to the ocean. Which you do see from the front porch. As to the house, it is a little smaller then expected, it will keep a family close! You have your four bedrooms that align the outer edge and the kitchen with open concept looking into the living room right in the middle of the house. For 2 couples for a 4 day getaway it really wanst uncomfortable or cramped. If you are planning time on the beach bring everything you need, beach towels are provided but thats about it.

We had a wonderful weekend stay! The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, and offered plenty of room. The ocean view was fantastic, and the location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect! The house is absolutely beautiful, and the elevator made getting around so much easier. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the deck, relaxing and watching the water. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to unwind. The beach was just steps away, making it easy to enjoy the sand and surf whenever we wanted. The sunrise over the water was simply breathtaking. This was an amazing girls' trip and birthday celebration, and everyone had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend it to others!

This was a great choice for our family! We stayed here for 5 nights as a family of 5. We travelled with our teen and adult children. Everything was clean, well stocked, and comfortable for us. Check in and out was easy and communication was great. This is the perfect spot for a quiet beach getaway!

What can I say this place was perfect for our family trip. The view was amazing being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the view and the sounds of the ocean!! The elevator was such an amazing addition easy on getting luggage and food upstairs and most of all myself with bad knees! Our fur babies loved the place as well we all felt very at “home”. We picked this house for the elevator because our mom was with us and is disabled. When we arrived, the elevator did not work. We spent our entire first day waiting for someone to come fix it so my mom could at least get inside the house. The person they sent wasn’t able to fix it, and they never sent anyone else out to fix it. We ended up having to physically carry my 73 year old mom up the stairs and she was not able to leave the house the entire trip. We spent money on golf carts and special beach chairs for my mom, and she was never able to enjoy any of it because she was stranded in the house the entire 5 days we were there. We found multiple companies willing to come out to fix the elevator, but the owners refused to hire them. Instead, they offered us a refund if we were willing to check out on the same day we arrived. I reached out to the host on 2 separate occasions, prior to our trip, to let him know how important the elevator was for us to have due to my mom’s disability. He assured me that my mom would not have to go up any stairs and that the elevator was up and running properly. We requested a partial refund after our trip, seeing that the whole reason we picked this house was for the elevator, which was out of service during our stay. He keeps giving us the run around and has yet to refund us a single dime. We wasted so much money and time with this house and I truly hope they are honest with future tenants before anyone else runs into the same problem we had.

This beachhouse is beautiful and has a great view of the ocean! The elevator comes in very handy if one has problems taking stairs. We loved relaxing on the big patio listening to the ocean while having our morning coffee and relaxing outside before bed. The host is very friendly and responsive!

Beautiful beach view home!

This house was perfect and very clean! Nice ocean view and great home layout all on one floor so no one feels left out. The elevator was perfect for the two in our party that can’t walk up the stairs. The kitchen had tons of supplies. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and gave us a list of supplies they left for us. Plenty of room for parking and hanging out. The outside shower even had hot water! This place is definitely a 10/10!!!

I loved this place, Derek and Lauren were so helpful and got back with me very quickly. The listing really didn't do it justice. The elevator was the deciding factor, I will definitely stay here again. Everything was clean and neat. My granddaughter loved the place ( the place where they were staying was not as listed, didn't have what they said they had, and she said it smelled bad) she wanted to stay with me the whole time. I give this place a 5 star rating.

We had a lovely stay with our family in the Bolivar Peninsula. The elevator was an excellent addition for our family with special accessibility needs and the porch with beautiful beach views was unmatched!

This was a beautiful place to stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. When we entered the home, the smell was heavenly. The hosts were very responsive. The beach view was great and only took a minute to walk to. The elevator was very helpful. I would highly recommend this beach house and I will definitely stay there again! quality!

Derek’s home was perfect for our family trip to Crystal beach! It was close to the beach to walk over and watch the sunrise, play or fish throughout the day. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. to cook some of our meals at the home. Elevator was very convenient for moving our bags upstairs. The laundry pods were a nice touch so we could wash and use fresh towels as needed! We would love to return here next time! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The property was right next to the beach. The view from the very roomy, comfortable deck was spectacular. Hearing and watching the waves from the deck and the interior of the house was amazing. The house was clean and very comfortable. The owners were very accommodating. 3 of our group suffer from extreme allergies. The owners accomodated our request for no scented cleaners to be used. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this pet-friendly four-bedroom beach house. The elevator was extremely helpful for getting luggage and groceries upstairs, and you really can’t beat being just steps away from the beach. The home was comfortable, and it was great being able to bring our pets along.The only minor concern was a few soft spots in the floors, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time overall. We’d definitely consider staying here again!

The cabin is definitely a Lil Peace of Heaven. A very nice clean home away from home. The bonus was a beautiful beach view. It was roomy with comfortable beds. The perfect place for a family to make memories. We will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. It had plenty of space for our group, and the layout made it easy for us to relax, hang out, and enjoy our time together. The host was fantastic—super responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Check-in and check-out were seamless, which made the whole experience stress-free! The location was also perfect! Literally a 30 second walk to the beach!! We loved waking up to the sound of the waves! This was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-hosted place!

Our Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We really enjoyed the spacious living room. Kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials. The mattress was so very comfortable. The large deck had comfortable seating and beautiful views of the ocean.

The position of the house was perfect to watch sunrise from the deck each morning. The interior elevator was very beneficial not only for luggage, but also for our elderly dog who cannot navigate stairs well. The house was beautiful and clean, while remaining cozy and comfortable. We would definitely stay at this location again.

The place was beautiful , welcoming and warm. The even had sweet welcome note on the kitchen counter. The location was perfect and peaceful. overall a lovely experience.

Host: Easy to communicate with and got back to me quickly. Home: The house had ocean front views, just seconds away from beach access, no obstructed views. We loved the large balcony that my dog could safely run around on, and the porch swing. It had everything we needed for our long stay. Almost every room had a large tv and we enjoyed free movies on TUBI channel on the Roku tv in living room. We loved the large bedrooms and large beds in every room, with comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms for each us to use without needing to share. Very quiet neighborhood and respectful neighbors. Location: Perfect. Just a few minute drive from grocery store, dollar store, gas station and most of the restaurants. The beach was a few seconds away, you can walk straight onto it. The beach was clean and felt private. Our dog was able to run around freely and fully enjoy itself. The beach is public but since it was November the population was minimal. 15 mins from Galveston ferry.

This rental was the most well equipped property I've ever stayed at. It had absolutely everything you could need. It's a beautiful home with gorgeous views of the gulf. We loved waking up each day and seeing the surf just outside our window. The deck was awesome and that's where we spent most of our time. We're definitely coming back!

Enjoyed our fall beach vacation. The house was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. The birding was great! This is the second time in 6 months we have stayed at this VRBO and have enjoyed it both times. The hosts are responsive and reply quickly. Now to plan our next trip.

I had a fantastic stay! Walking to the beach was easy and enjoyable, and I loved having a clear view of the ocean from the deck. The outdoor entertainment area was perfect for relaxing and people-watching. The deck was sunny and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of appliances and utensils, making meal prep effortless. All bedrooms had smart TVs, providing entertainment options for everyone. The four bedrooms were very comfortable, and the house had all the essentials, including a washer and dryer. With two full bathrooms, a half bath, and an outdoor shower, there was plenty of convenience and space. The BBQ was a great addition for outdoor cooking. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beach atmosphere!

We traveled with family and the elevator was nice to have for the grandmothers. The house was very clean and well stocked compared to other houses we have stayed in before in the area. Derek was very helpful with anything that came up. The location is great and very convenient everything we needed. All linens (even beach towels) are supplied which is great! We would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this space. The house was clean on arrival, check in was a breeze and the views of Crystal beach from the large balcony was amazing. The elevator was a godsend for moving in luggage and our elderly dog. The beach was a short walk away and the Big Store/Ace Hardware was a 5 min drive away. The host was responsive and helpful in suggesting places to eat and local spots to fish. I would stay again in the future and would highly recommend!

Lovely stay with our family. The property is an easy walk to the beach and has unobstructed view of the ocean from the deck, making it also a relaxing place if you brought some work too. Hosts were great and proactive. We had a problem with the tv and they installed a new one without 12 hours so the kids could watch movies!

My family had a wonderful time on Bolivar Peninsula. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the equipment needed to cook any meal you might want to prepare. The deck was shaded and cooled from the beach breeze. The swing was an added bonus that my 93 year old mother loved. I bet she spent 12 hours a day there. The hosts were responsive and answered the questions we had before and during our stay. We are already talking about a return trip in October or November.

Just few steps from the beach. So clean and smells good! Lots of amenities and kitchen appliances. Love this place!
